Fixed & Removable Options

Given that different skeletal and dental malocclusions require specific types of orthopedic and orthodontic appliances, our lab offers both fixed and removable options — matched to each patient and stage of treatment.

Our Appliance Range

Bionator Appliance

Correcting a skeletal Class II in the mixed dentition? This appliance can be modified to distract the mandible, open/close the bite, and hold the vertical dimension constant.

Williams Appliance

Helps develop the transverse width of the lower dental alveolar base in the mixed dentition. It will also recover lost mandibular arch length.

Crozat Appliance

Develops the transverse width of the dental alveolar base in the permanent dentition. It can also assist in recovering moderate lower arch length loss as the arch develops.

Twin-Block Appliance

The appliance of choice for correcting a skeletal Class II in the permanent dentition. Options include removable, fixed-removable, or totally fixed. We recommend the Walters modification.

Class III Labial Retainer

Used on the lower arch to support intraoral Class III elastics.

Homeoblock Appliance

Used for arch development in the permanent dentition.

Bioblock Appliance

Used for arch development in the mixed dentition.

Study Models

Two options available: 3D-printed study models and/or orthodontic stone models.

A.L.F. Appliance

The Advanced Lightwire Functional appliance can correct distortions of the skull and maxillae, and align the upper and lower teeth to improve the bite.

R-N Sagittal Appliance

Used in the permanent dentition to develop the maxilla in both sagittal and transverse directions. It can also be modified to open or close the bite.

Cephalometric Tracing Service

A comprehensive cephalometric tracing service offering analysis and evaluation of treatment options using the latest Bimler elite tracing methodology.

Sagittal Appliance

Corrects dental & skeletal sagittal deficiencies in the maxilla. Useful in both the mixed and permanent dentition to recover upper or lower arch length loss.

Fixed Expanders

For transverse development of the upper or lower arches, fixed expanders are useful in non-compliant patients. They can be modified with acrylic when developing in the mixed dentition.

R.P.H.G

Available in fully adjustable sizes. Used to advance the position of the maxilla relative to the anterior cranial base in pre-pubertal patients.

Fixed Appliances

For transverse development of the upper or lower arches, fixed appliances are useful in non-compliant patients, and can be modified with acrylic in the mixed dentition.

Sleep Apnea / Snoring

Appliances designed to reposition the mandible down and forward to open the oral-pharyngeal airway. They can also function as a repositioning splint for the TMJs.
